Enola

A memorial to the catastrophes of war.

By: Justin Palatsky

They told us the clouds

are Gods but why

am I running

the other way?

It’s blinding,

it’s scorching,

so desperately painful.

These clouds

cast different shadows

burn the skin

and blind the eyes.

Enola said she’s sorry

but I don’t believe her.
